Paint My Sky Blue

My name is Beth Frost and I am a Fine Art student at the Winchester School of Art. I am currently experimenting with a lot of ideas and techniques and this blog is where you can watch them!

I wanted to create my own exhibition, so I did, in my bedroom.

The title of the show was ‘Being and Nothingness’, a theme that has carried on from my previous work with photography.

The show included my work as well as the work of two other artists. I invited people to come view it like you would any exhibition.

I found it fun to incorporate work into my room!

Double exposures showing the simplicity of being and what it is to exist.

These are the cakes I made as part of our one week project ‘Feast’. I think food is something that always brings people together and is used to celebrate special occasions so I baked these to honor my love of food!

Acrylic painting on A1 mount board as part of my current self directed project to do with emotion. I used a certain colour pallet to reflect the mood of the subject.
